The agreement

This site is Chef Wade, Alexander Wade's recipe book. These terms are between you and Alexander Wade. "Chef Wade" means Alexander Wade and anyone he allows to run the book.

Reading the book, creating an account, or saving a plate means you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for your login and for what happens with it. Chef Wade may refuse, limit, or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the site at risk.

Only the chef accounts can add, edit, or delete plates. A regular account can save favorites and keep a private rating. Those ratings are not part of the public book.

Deleting your account removes the login, the saved list, and the ratings. Plates already on the book stay until the chef removes them.

The book belongs to Chef Wade

The recipes, photos, words, name, and design of this site belong to Alexander Wade unless a plate says otherwise. You may cook from the recipes at home. You may not copy the book, sell the recipes, train a model on them, or use the photos for your own business without written permission.

If a chef account uploads a plate, that person confirms they have the right to the photo and the words, and they allow Chef Wade to show that plate on the site.

Cooking is on you

Recipes are for home cooking. They are not a promise of a result, a nutrition plan, or food-safety advice. You are responsible for allergens, temperatures, and whether a dish is safe to serve. Chef Wade is not liable for how a recipe turns out.

What you may not do

Do not break the site, scrape it in order to republish it, impersonate Chef Wade, or post anything unlawful or anything you do not have the right to share. Do not use the site to create a client, employment, or business relationship with Alexander Wade unless he agrees to that in writing.

The site is provided as it is

The book is offered as it is and as it is available. Chef Wade does not warrant that the site will always be up, that a saved plate will never be lost, or that a recipe is fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Alexander Wade is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or anything that happens after you leave for Instagram or another site.

You pay nothing to use the book. To the extent the law allows, any claim related to the site is limited to that amount, which is zero. If your use of the site, or something you upload, leads to a claim against Alexander Wade, you will cover that claim to the extent it came from you.

Law and changes

These terms follow the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Chef Wade may update this page. The date at the top is the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
